Jona is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant. She graduated from the University of Connecticut and completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies at the University of Bridgeport. Jona shares the same sentiments as Dr. Tung and strives to potentiate CORE’s mission to treat pain through a variety of modalities. She is passionate about providing personalized care to each patient by taking an individualized approach to treatment plans and utilizing patient education every step of the way. Jona is fluent in Albanian and English.

Core Physical Therapy was founded in 1992. Our dedication to delivering the highest standard of care for our patients has always been the cornerstone of our treatment philosophy.
Dr. Tung acquired Core Physical Therapy in 2016. He expanded the practice into Core Medical Group with the addition of pain management, sports and orthopedic medicine, and regenerative therapies
Our state-of-the-art facilities include a fluoroscopy suite for x-ray guided pain management procedures, an EMG / nerve conduction suite for electrodiagnostic testing, musculoskeletal ultrasound for precision guidance of diagnostic and therapeutic injections, and a CLIA-certified laboratory. Our new 4000+ sq ft facility was completely renovated in early 2017 for patient comfort.
Core Medical Group collaborates closely with respected neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
