Dr. Matthew Reuter
Matthew Reuter, MD is a physiatrist with Core Medical Group and Physical Therapy. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he also served as a research assistant in the department of orthopedic surgery. He completed an internship at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Prior to joining Core Medical Group Dr. Reuter was an ambulatory physiatrist at Hartford HealthCare and Brown University Health in Rhode Island, where he also was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Brown University School of Medicine. Dr. Reuter is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Reuter has special interests in EMG and concussion care.
He is fluent in English and Spanish. In his free time Dr. Reuter participates avidly in golf, tennis, softball, and lacrosse. He supports efforts to establish a men’s lacrosse team at his alma mater Columbia University. He also participates in curling and advocates for greater participation in this Winter Olympic and Paralympic sport!
